Report: Eni CEO sees oil prices at $45-65 in next few years
ROME, Aug 31 (PRIME) -- Oil prices will fluctuate in a U.S. $45-65 per barrel range in the next few years, CEO of Italian oil and gas company Eni Claudio Descalzi told newspaper La Stampa in an interview published Monday.
He said he hopes that oil prices will not stay at $40 per barrel despite a slowdown of the Chinese economy, a strong U.S. dollar and market unpredictability. “But I think that prices will stay at $45–65 for at least a couple of years,” Descalzi said.
